Palm trees, glistening water, flowing beverages and rocking live music. If all that sounds like the perfect start to a summer weekend, that’s because for two years running the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Friday Night Live concert series has come close to being just that. All that’s missing are free cones of stracciatella gelato and complimentary sunscreen applications by the cast of Zumanity.
Starting May 1, Friday Night Live will bring a wide range of musical acts to the hotel’s tropical pool, kicking off with Rusted Root then running the gamut from Eek-A-Mouse (May 15) to Ozomatli (May 22) to the Gin Blossoms (June 26). So far nine acts have been announced with more to be added soon. Most of the concerts run $20 to $35 with tickets available for purchase from Ticektmaster or the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office starting March 14 and all will be preceded by with an open bar sponsored by SpyOnVegas.
Last year, locals in the know hit the pool early for more than just the free booze. SpyOnVegas offered free tickets to each night’s bar that included access to the concert immediately afterward. Palm trees, glistening water, flowing beverage and rocking out to free live music – that’s the perfect start to a summer weekend.
