The Beauty Bar recently unleashed its high-powered new backyard PA, in time for the Afghan Raiders Thursday night Neon Reverb set, thankfully.

First Night of Neon Reverb @ Beauty Bar

The fast-rising Vegas electro duo sounded superb coming through the new system—20,000 watts, compared to the old setup’s 10,000, according to soundman-turned-GM-turned-soundman-for-the-night Joe Garcia—generating a crisp, clean musical stratum, particularly along the low end.

The delirious crowd feeding off the twosome’s nonstop energy might or might not have noticed the sound improvement, but Beauty Bar audiences will no doubt discover the difference during slightly less frenetic visits.
