Neon Reverb update: Glass Heroes cancel, Neon Venus set time changed

By Spencer Patterson

Phoenix punk vets Glass Heroes, the scheduled headliners for tonight's Thunderbird Lounge show, have withdrawn from the festival, Neon Reverb co-organizer James Woodbridge tells the Weekly. According to Woodbridge, the band canceled after learning its drummer—and his gear—wouldn't be arriving in Las Vegas in time for tonight's performance. Woodbridge says Glass Heroes' slot will not be filled, leaving locals The Quitters, The Dirty Panties, The Mapes and The Objex to anchor the fest's punk showcase.

Also, due to a scheduling conflict at the Neon Venus Art Theatre (1404 E. 3rd St.), tonight's Mother McKenzie/Mike Damron & Thee Loyal Bastards show will begin around 8:30, rather than 7 p.m. as originally planned.
