How do we love Romanteek vocalist Ruby Valentine’s voice? Let us count the ways

By Julie Seabaugh

We love her voice to the depth and breadth and height

Her soulful snarl did reach whilst headlining Saturday night

From the ends of Washington to the Beauty Bar

We love it even more than Bea Arthur’s

For when did Maude make us want to dance?

Valentine’s golden cloak and turquoise pants

Were yet less subtle than her twang

Bette Davis ought complain

She’s been out-discoed, out-jazzed, just plain out-sexed

Let’s don our boots, let’s stomp, shriek and snort

We can’t wait for Romanteek to play Vegas next

The crowd was just too small and the time far too short
