With skinsman Anthony Johnson called to New York on emergency, the four remaining members of dark-haired, dark-clad Australian shoegazers The Morning After Girls opted for comparatively free-form, ultra-dense, moody soundscapes. But heaviest of all? The fact that the 1:15 a.m. start cost them half their lead-in Beauty Bar audience.
