Killer booking: Flowers takes root at Shimmer Cabaret for solo performance

Brandon Flowers’ upcoming solo album is titled “Flamingo.” But he’s opening a brief club tour at “Hilton.” In one of the more fascinating bookings ever in Las Vegas, Flowers is scheduled to play the Las Vegas Hilton’s Shimmer Cabaret on Aug. 15.
