Vampire Weekend to play free show at Rain

It makes perfect sense for a video game set in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas to celebrate its release with the help of indie darlings Vampire Weekend. Actually, it doesn’t make much sense—if the band were named Zombie Month or Mutated Human Survivor Weeknight, it might—but you shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Fallout: New Vegas, the latest installment of the popular Fallout series, is hosting a launch party at Rain inside the Palms this Saturday, October 16, and the dudes behind “A-Punk” and “Oxford Comma” will be giving a special live performance to celebrate. DJ Zen Freeman will also be on hand.
And here’s the best part: You are invited to attend. For free! Sign up at N9ne Group’s website for complimentary admission to the party. You can thank us later.
