More cops, more tension — but at least I’m just slingin’ drinks

The cops are up to their dirty tricks again. I was at work during another police visit. Luckily I was only serving drinks. It’s so creepy the way it happens. They make their busts so discreetly that business goes on as usual and the majority of workers don’t even know that the police were there at all. Still collecting money at the club, but (for now) with the top on

Since I can’t risk getting another ticket (and it is a matter of pure chance to get another one while stripping), I’ve gone back to cocktail waitressing for a little while now. Work has been incredibly busy with the mass hysteria of March Madness. I’ve been earning what I would on a night of stripping. St. Patrick’s Day: A time to drink, reflect … and drink

I don’t believe I’ve ever worked on St.Patrick’s Day. It’s my favorite holiday after Halloween. I love holidays where people dress up like crazies and drink way too much. In the spirit of things, that’s what I’ll be doing today. Also, I’m Catholic (or was) so why wouldn’t I love St.Patrick’s Day? Most everything else is going relatively well. Single moms lose their jobs — all in the interest of public safety

It is my understanding that the girls who got arrested during last week’s lovely visit from the police were arrested for what they said, not for what they did. I guess they agreed to give extras for a certain amount of money. I don’t know for sure. I heard from someone who heard from someone else who talked to one of the arrested women. I’m not a criminal. I just work. I can’t think of a cleaner dancer besides me. I can think of many who are as well-behaved, but none who surpass my level of well-behavedness. I never mislead customers into thinking that they’re going to get anything “better” in the VIP room. I never tell customers that I’m single to let them get their hopes up.
