Your guide to MAGIC parties

If you don’t have your credentials for the MAGIC tradeshow --
no worries, you can still party it up at all of the fashionable soirees going on in the evenings during the event. If you’re like many people you may have been confused by the name of the MAGIC event as you have seen it on billboards around town. No, David Copperfield hasn’t created a new method to lure in the ladies. It’s the biannual fashion tradeshow that descends upon Las Vegas with all of the hottest designer duds. Monday, August 25:
Jet: Hit up the Famous Stars and Straps Magic nline:Afterparty at Jet where you can dance to three different sounds in the various rooms of the club. Enjoy performances by The Cool Kids and DJ Spyder.
VooDoo Lounge: Lucky 13 and VM Entertainment present a MAGIC afterparty and fashion show featuring live music by Revolution Mother and Boss Martians with DJ Gonzo.
Tuesday, August 26:
KNYEW Clothing Boutique: KNYEW Clothing Boutique hosts a MAGIC party featuring open bar, catering and a live performance from the legendary hip-hop group The Beatnuts. The Las Vegas based streetwear shop was founded by New York natives, DJ Crooked and DJ Neva along with shoe guru Kenn Davenport.
Double Down Saloon: Sailor Jerry tattoo wear and rum presents a MAGIC party with No Age and Thomas Function performing live.
Christian Audigier The Nightclub: Visit Treasure Island’s newest nightspot for a MAGIC party hosted by Christian Audigier featuring music by Macy Gray.
Blush: Blush hosts the True Religion Project Party. Be among the first 50 people to celebrate Project and walk away with a True Religion sweatshirt. Mingle with models rocking the latest in TR gear.
Hawaiian Tropic Zone: Head to Hawaiian Tropic Zone for the Shoes That Rock fashion fundraiser to benefit the International Academy of Design & Technology’s scholarship fund with fashion shows at 9 and 10 p.m.

Revolution Lounge: Dallas Austin's Rowdy clothing line and Arch Angel jewelry present an edgy fashion show at the Beatles Revolution Lounge. Tech-soul duo Pink Enemy performs live and all guests will enjoy complimentary Pravda Vodka from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Wasted Space: Justin Timberlake's William Rast label’s Fall 2008 campaign launch party featuring a screening of "My Name Is William Rast," a film by Jonas Akerlund.
