A post-Hef Holly Madison to grace Playboy cover

Holly Madison recently moved out of the Playboy mansion but that hasn’t stopped her from landing on the cover of ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner’s iconic magazine.
Madison will appear on the cover of the February issue, and her Girls Next Door co-stars, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, will also get their own covers that month in a special three-version release.
It is not the first time the blonde bombshell has graced the cover of the magazine – she’s been on it three times before – but it is the first time she has appeared without any of her Girls Next Door co-stars. The trio first appeared on the cover in November 2005 but had to share the prime real estate until now.

Madison said she was both “proud” of the pictorial and “excited” for it to hit shelves next month.
“I directed and produced the shoot,” she said. “I’m really proud of that … I’m just excited to have shot and produced the shoot myself.”
She said the photos were taken several months ago, before she and Hef parted ways.
“We actually shot it in July,” she said, adding, “It was back before I got conservative.”
The 28-year-old donned a black rhinestone-studded bikini for the cover shoot. For the inside pictorial, however, she said, readers will see her wearing “red ruby slippers and not much else.”
Madison said the photos were taken at the L.A. Theater in Los Angeles. “It’s my favorite place as a location,” she said. “It was a lot of fun.”
Though the three “Girls Next Door” have moved out of the mansion and moved on with their lives – Madison now splits her time between L.A. and boyfriend Criss Angel’s home base in Las Vegas; Marquardt has signed on to host a show on the Travel Channel; and Wilkinson will marry Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett this summer – the women will continue to appear together on the small screen as part of the hit reality series that helped make them famous.
“We’ll always have things to do,” Madison said. “I’ll always have time to spend with Bridget and Kendra … they’ll always be part of my life.”
The trio recently reunited in Las Vegas for a book signing at the official Playboy store in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The hour-long autograph session was part of a promotional event for the Girls Next Door book that was released last week.
Their popular E! series is currently heading into its sixth season.
