Celeb recap: Olympic swimmers, Kardashian sisters and Hollywood A-listers

Pirates, pretty sisters and stars with birthdays all invaded Las Vegas this weekend. Here’s how the parties shook out.
DJ Jazzy Jeff (born Jeffrey Townes), kicked things off on Friday as Will Smith's former small-screen co-star hosted Ditch Fridays at the Palms.
He later moved his turntables inside from the pool deck to Rain nightclub as he took over for DJ AM, who had the night off.
Earlier that afternoon Peepshow star Holly Madison strutted her stuff during a photoshoot at (and for) Sin City Brewing, Co. inside the Miracle Mile Shops.
She was out and about all weekend: The former Girls Next Door personality was at Tao on Saturday and enjoyed brunch at Simon at Palms Place on Sunday.
Los Lonely Boys and Los Lobos played at the Hard Rock Hotel pool on Friday as part of the ongoing Friday Night Live summer concert series.
Meanwhile, E! News personality Giuliana Rancic celebrated her 35th birthday at Tabú at MGM Grand. The birthday girl’s husband, The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic, joined his wife for the party.
The pair have a new reality show, Giuliana and Bill, which airs on E!.
The birthday celebrations continued on Saturday as former Hollywood hot couple Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter, Rumer Willis, turned 21 and celebrated with a big party at Tao.
Since the dinner didn't start until 10:30 p.m., the birthday girl's dad and step mom, Emma Heming, tided themselves over with a pre-dinner dinner at Striphouse at Planet Hollywood.
Later that night they joined all three Willis daughters, their mother and step father, Ashton Kutcher, and over a dozen others for the party at Tao.
The birthday girl's boyfriend, Micah Alberti, and friend Matt Dallas also joined the dinner party, as did Audrina Patridge and other members of cast of Rumer Willis' upcoming movie, Sorority Row.
Patridge and her boyfriend, Corey Bohan, were spotted at Tao Beach earlier in the afternoon as they took in the sexy scene from the rooftop deck and enjoyed the sunny late summer afternoon.
The party started with dinner at Tao, followed by a night in the club. (Former “E!” reality show star and current Peepshow headliner Holly Madison later joined the party, as did actress Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, Kutcher’s business partner, Jason Goldberg.
Rapper Nelly, was also at Tao on Saturday and arrived just an hour before the club closed at 4 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas version of Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner’s Midsummer Night’s Dream party took place at the Palms.
While Hefner couldn’t be there himself – and he didn't send any of his girlfriends, past or present, this year – there was no shortage of playboys at the pool.
Among the revelers was actor Pauly Shore, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden and Australian-born pro skateboarder Jake Brown.
Madden had dinner at N9NE Steakhouse before the party while former NFL player Jamie Sharper skipped the poolside Playboy antics altogether and instead partied in the VIP section at Moon with eight of his friends.
Friday Night Lights actress Adrianne Palicki was also in town this weekend and was spotted having dinner at the Hard Rock Hotel's steakhouse, Rare 120.
Also at the Hard Rock that night, current IBF and IBO world flyweight champion Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire took on Rafael "El Torito" Concepción at the Top Rank Pinoy Power 2 at The Joint.
Meanwhile, The Cool Kids were at LAX and The Veronicas were at Pure.
Before the sun set, however, Whose Line is it Anyway alum and Venetian headliner Wayne Brady celebrated his recently extended residency and his new show on CBS, Let’s Make A Deal, by the pool at Azure.
As the weekend came to a close, two more high-profile pool parties went down, at MGM Grand and the Hard Rock.
It wasn’t just another afternoon by the pool at Wet Republic when Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian stopped by.
While the famous sisters were there to promote their new reality show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, the appearance was somewhat overshadowed by the eldest Kardashian sister’s recent baby news.
Kourtney Kardashian, 30, announced last week that she is pregnant and is expecting to deliver her first child in late December.
The baby’s daddy, Scott Disick, failed to join the mother of his unborn child by the pool on Sunday, despite being in town the day before and partying at the same pool 24 hours earlier.
He and an all-male entourage were spotted at Tao Beach on Saturday, as well.
Brother Rob Kardashian was a no-show on Sunday, too. He apparently left town prior to Sunday afternoon's appearance following a big night out in Las Vegas the night before.
"He was too tired," Khloe Kardashian said.
Meanwhile, U.S. Olympic swimmers Cullen Jones, Ricky Berens, Scott Spann, Ryan Lochte, and Ed Moses were all spotted at the Hard Rock's signature Sunday afternoon pool party, Rehab.
As mentioned, Holly Madison turned up for brunch at Simon at Palms Place yesterday, as did Benji Madden.
Later that night, Miss September 2008, Kimberly Phillips, had dinner at Nove Italiano before hosting the night at Playboy Club.
Rumer Willis continued her birthday weekend on Sunday with a visit to Tao Beach during the day before hitting Lavo later that night.
Willis wasn't the only one celebrating a birthday at the club that night: Owner Noah Tepperberg was there to celebrate a birthday of his own, as well.
Tepperberg kicked off his birthday bash with dinner for 40 in the main floor restaurant before moving the massive party upstairs to the nightclub.
Guests at his table included Pauly Shore and That 70s Show alum-turned-DJ Danny Masterson.
Masterson and a friend grabbed a pre-party bite to eat at Dos Caminos inside The Palazzo. The pair had the tortilla soup, a platter of carbon, asada and pescado tacos, and a trio of ceviches, witnesses said, and washed it all down with beer and margaritas.
