Holly gets hitched at Planet Hollywood
Holly Madison appears to be a married woman – and Hugh Hefner, Criss Angel, and muscle-strapped UFC fighters have nothing to do with it.
Well, sort of.
If the old saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" rings true, six of the words accompanying this photo would be, "Holly Madison got married on Sunday."
Meanwhile, another, equally appropriate half-dozen would read, "That gnome is a lucky man."
Madison’s publicity-filled weekend ended yesterday with a photo finish at Planet Hollywood.
The 29-year-old Peepshow headliner posed for faux wedding photos with the Travelocity gnome. The stills will be used as part of an upcoming ad campaign for the discount travel Web site.
Madison posted several teaser messages to her Twitter account throughout the afternoon leading up to the staged ceremony.
"I'm marrying someone today-he's short and well-travelled," she wrote, adding, "No, it's not Steve Flynn."
(Flynn is Madison’s seemingly tireless publicist.)
A few hours later, she posted a link to the feed that led to a photo of her and a smiling, unnamed male.
"Awww . . .not who I'm marrying today . . damn!" she teased.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant posted yet another photo two hours later, this time of her and UFC fighter Clay Guida.
This time, however, the image carried no caption other than the brawler’s name.
However, the obviously fictitious wedding photos made it clear that the joke was on us: A quickie Vegas wedding was not in the cards for Madison this weekend.
So, hopeful bachelors, do not despair. Holly Madison is not really married. Your conquest is safe for the time being; the stunner is still single.
