Meet the honeymooners: Fred and Esther Durst

It’s been a busy past few days for Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

The founding members of his band played their first concert together on U.S. soil since reuniting at the Palms on Saturday. As if that wasn’t enough, the nu-metal rapper also got married.

No, it wasn’t a Vegas quickie wedding for Durst – he and former fiancée Esther Nazarov tied the knot before they came to town from L.A.

"Cheers to the universe from me and my lovely wife Esther Durst!! We are now one and complete,” Durst posted to his Web-based Twitter page on July 16.

The post has since been deleted from his feed, but not before it was noticed.

Durst used Twitter to announce the engagement back in April.

"Much better at night," wrote Fred Durst on Twitter about the view from his Palms balcony this weekend.

“Great news – I’m getting married to Esther in July!!!!,” he wrote, posting a photo of his bride-to-be’s impressive Neil Lane engagement ring.

“I am the happiest man alive!! I'm so excited for our wedding!! I've never known true love until now,” Durst gushed. “It’s on!! Break out the bubbley! (sic)”

While the wedding date was on, another date – his band’s concert date for the UFC 100 kick-off in Las Vegas – was off.

The UFC pulled the plug on the show just two weeks before the ill-fated July 10 concert was to take place.

While Durst and his bandmates scrambled to reschedule the show, the band’s “the show must go on” mentality made for a hectic post-nuptial few days for the newlyweds.

Still, Durst posted a photo to his Twitter Web page earlier this week that showed him and the new missus as they caught some R&R by the pool with a few mojitos.

The micro-blog post seemed to be Durst’s way of introducing his new wife to the world.

Meanwhile, no official announcement of the wedding has been made, and no specific details of where or when the wedding actually took place have been made public, either.

While Durst had to work this weekend, the couple made the most of a makeshift honeymoon in Las Vegas.

“Just arrived in Vegas. Our room is pretty dope,” Durst posted to his Twitter feed.

He uploaded a photo he took earlier that afternoon along with the post, explaining, “Here's the view from our balcony.”

A few hours later, he posted another balcony shot. “Much better at night,” he concluded.

After checking into their suite at the Palms on Friday, the getaway got underway with a romantic dinner at Prime, followed by the 7:30 p.m. performance of Cirque du Soleil’s watery spectacular, O.

After the show, the newlyweds snuck backstage to meet the cast and snap a few photos.

While most of Durst’s Saturday was occupied with Limp Bizkit-related work, the gushing groom couldn’t help but introduce and applaud his “beautiful new wife” during the band’s performance.

Durst gave his new bride several shout-outs between songs and introduced her to fans as his “new wife, Esther Durst.”

The new first lady of Limp Bizkit received a warm welcome from fans at the Pearl that night, as the crowd cheered on the newly named man and wife.

The two joined Durst’s bandmates and their respective plus-ones for dinner at Simon after the show, but did not continue on to Moon after they finished their meal.

All things considered, however, their no-show at the club wasn’t all that surprising: They’re newlyweds, after all, and likely had other things in mind.

Durst posted yet another message expressing his contentment at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“Life is so much better knowing I have a wonderful wife and family,” he said. “I love being married and I am the luckiest man alive to be so in love.”
