Kendra Wilkinson has a big month ahead of her: Her new reality show will debut on June 4 and she’s getting married two weeks later.
Despite all that is on her plate, the 23-year-old was anything but stressed Friday afternoon as she and fiancé Hank Baskett kicked off their Memorial Day weekend at Wet Republic.
Wilkinson’s former Girls Next Door co-star, Dancing with the Stars alum and future Peepshow star, Holly Madison, also joined her at the pool.
The blondes sizzled in strikingly similar beachwear: both wore pink and white bikinis and Dior sunglasses to the pool party.
While Madison, who led a record-setting bikini parade down Las Vegas Blvd. last week, showed off her beach-ready (and Peepshow-prepared) bod in a skimpy swimsuit, Wilkinson covered up with a green caftan as her entourage made its way to their VIP cabana just after 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Wilkinson and Madison’s other former co-star, Bridget Marquardt, was nowhere to be seen. While she was in town to celebrate Hefner’s 83rd birthday last month, the final member of the former Hefter spent yesterday in Cancun, filming her new Travel Channel series, Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches.
Wilkinson said she hadn’t seen or spoken to her in a while, but that doesn’t mean the two are on bad terms.
“Last I heard she was planning my wedding shower,” Wilkinson laughed.
Wilkinson did a lot of laughing this afternoon as she and Baskett chatted with reporters. The two were all smiles as they talked about the exciting month ahead.
She said crews have all but wrapped filming for the first season of her new reality series, Kendra. All that’s left is what will be an hour-long episode that will be filmed during her and Baskett’s June 20th nuptials.
While there was a time some might have expected Wilkinson to walk down the aisle with former boyfriend Hugh Hefner, she and the Playboy mogul will do their aisle-walking before any vows are exchanged.
Hefner, 83, is expected to give his former live-in girlfriend away on her wedding day.
Wilkinson has previously said there’s no animosity between her former and current flames and that Baskett and Hefner are good friends.
“We just want to say our I-do’s,” she said on behalf of herself and Baskett.
With less than a month to go before they become man and wife, Wilkinson and Baskett are planning to stay close to the MGM Grand this weekend.
After Friday’s pool party they had “a special date night” planned at Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, Craftsteak. They also have plans to catch a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ, during their stay and, if they’re lucky, tonight’s UFC fight, as well.
