Are you Tuff-N-Uff to be a ring girl?

Screw dodging punches and kicks inside the ring, Mixed Martial Arts ring girls have to dodge ringside photographers, videographers and hoots and hollers from the crowd. All while smiling and looking pretty in heels and a skimpy outfit. Alright, so it doesn’t sound that hard. But face it, not just anyone can confidently strut around a ring and not crack under the pressures of excited, and occasionally obnoxious, fight fans.
MMA ring girls are quickly becoming as well-known as some of the actual fighters. Local organizations like Tuff-N-Uff hire local ladies to strut their stuff and entertain the crowd in between rounds at Las Vegas fights.
While it’s not exactly America’s Next Top Model, local beauties can get a lot of exposure while working at fights. From club promoters to talent scouts, the audience at any given Tuff-N-Uff bout can hold a plethora of opportunities for aspiring models.
How does one get to fill the heels of an MMA ring girl, sashaying around the ring and blowing kisses to the crowd? One way is to participate in tonight’s Tuff-N-Uff ring girl search at Hawaiian Tropic Zone in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
Interested ladies can email Wayne Crane at WCrane@RieseRest.com with two or three images and contact information before 10 p.m. tonight or simply stop by the club at 10 with that information. Wear or bring your sexiest outfit or bikini and comfortable heels, like those exist!
The first prize is $500 plus a ring girl contract for the November 27 Tuff-N-Uff card at The Orleans. The second and third place prizes will also be contracts for that fight. Contenders should bring an entourage because the first round of judging will consist of crowd participation, whittling the girls down to the top five finalists. The top three places will be chosen by Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s guest judges. Even if you aren’t interested in competing, stop by to get a first glimpse of the next new ring girl before she’s famous.
