Holly Madison to continue in Peep Show

Holly Madison will continue giving fans a peek and will maintain her role as Bo Peep for at least another year.

“I am so excited to be staying with ‘Peepshow’,” Madison said today in a prepared statement. “The show is amazing, the cast and crew are like family and of course I love being in Vegas and at Planet Hollywood.”

Madison, a fanatical Twitter user, regularly posts updates detailing the fun she is having before and after the show with her castmates – her handsome co-star Josh Strickland especially.

“I have the most fun life ever!” Madison gushed in this afternoon’s release. The former Playboy model has been starring in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood since June 22.

“The audiences absolutely love Holly,” BASE Entertainment co-CEO Scott Zeiger said in today’s announcement.

“She is perfect,” he said, adding, “We are thrilled to extend her run as ‘Bo Peep’.”

Madison’s initial three-month contract has already been extended once but today’s announcement was unprecedented.

Most “Peepshow” stars complete short guest spots, then move on to other projects. Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown and “General Hospital” starlet Kelly Monaco both enjoyed a few months on the “Peepshow” stage early in the show’s run, then handed over the reins to a fresh set of starlets.

While Madison, who took over for Monaco, will remain in the role for at least another year, Brown’s replacement is already halfway out the door.

Playboy Cover Model Aubrey O’Day will replace current “Peep Diva” performer Shoshana Bean on Sept. 21.

Madison, 29, will remain with the still-new production, which made its debut this spring, until at least September 2010.
