Club-worthy shopping
If you haven’t already figured it out by the glut of fashion-related parties appearing on your social calendar of late, then you should know that the semi-annual MAGIC and PROJECT conventions will be descending upon us next week, February 16-18. And if you’ve ever been to the convention floor, then you know that it’s really only on the last day that the vendors actually vend, that is that they unload their demo clothes for cheap, and even then, not everyone does so and you have to have a convention badge to reap the benefits...
So what’s a fashionable gal or guy to wear next week to all those fashionable parties?!
Lucky for us, the thrice-annual Warehouse Sale arrived today and stays through Saturday, neatly tucked in right before the long holiday weekend as well as Vegas Fashion Week. The Warehouse Sale offers up to 80 percent off retail prices on men’s and women’s luxury denim normally sold by the likes of Neiman–Marcus and sure to get you past even the sternest dress code-obsessed doorman: 7 For All Mankind, AG Jeans, Antik Denim, BCBG Max Azria, Chip & Pepper, Christian Audigier, Ed Hardy, English Laundry, Frankie B., Junk Food, Laguna Beach, Lucky Brand, MEK, Monarchy, Morphine Generation, Rock & Republic, Rock Revival, Taverniti So, True Religion, William Rast... All the club-worthy brands are represented, and all are overstock, pre-production and samples (no irregulars).
Details
- The Warehouse Sale
- Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13, noon-8 p.m.

Beyond mere jeans, there is also a full range of tops, shirts, jackets, dresses, sweaters and skirts. (Show a Palms room key for an additional 10% off.) Save time by registering for expedited entry in advance at thewarehousesale.com.
More shop opps and Vegas fashion buzz!
Maude at Mandalay Place will be hosting its annual Valentine’s Day party this Saturday from 2-7 p.m. featuring cocktails, dancing (yes, in-store) and giveaways. A 50 percent off red dot sale and buy-one-get-one-free on all jewelry sweetens the deal.
Rock ‘n’ roll-inspired jewelers King Baby Studio will celebrate its grand opening at Wynn next to Mojitos on Wednesday, February 17 with a private, invite-only party but the afterparty at Blush that night is open to all and features a live performance by special guest duo Tommy Lee and DJ Aero at 10 p.m.
Designer to the bar stars, Christian Audigier, will open his first eponymous street- and club-wear boutique in Vegas this June as part of this summer’s wave of additions to the Forum Shops. Next week, the designer will also debut his “The Same Guy” line of logo-free, graphics-free fashions during the PROJECT convention. A departure from his busier Ed Hardy designs, the collection is said inspired by the comfort and simplicity of vintage t-shirts. More at thesameguy.net.
