One very tasty traffic jam

Is there such a thing as too many Michelin-starred chefs in the kitchen? The answer, based on Vegas Uncork’d’s Grand Tasting held May 7 at the Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace, would seem to be yes. And no. A trail of drunk texts (but no midgets)

So… you want to see a midget hang from a guy’s testicles? Haha. Really, though. I think I’m going to some party at Krave featuring such a thing. Want to come? I long ago became accustomed to receiving strange invitations, but this text message was by far the strangest note to grace my inbox. Uncork’d and uninhibited

Last night, Vegas Uncork’d got naughty. I don’t mean that the diners sitting down at Guy Savoy, Rao’s, Mesa Grill and Bradley Ogden had a few too many glasses of their paired wines, though undoubtedly, that happened too. Vegas Uncork’d: Let the meals begin!

The 2010 Vegas Uncork’d food and wine festival kicked off today at Mix at Mandalay Bay with a who’s who of Vegas chefs drinking and mingling high above the Strip. The real meat of the weekend starts with tonight’s Master’s Series Dinners held at four Caesars Palace restaurants, but the afternoon meet and greet provided plenty of interesting Uncork’d nibbles.
