While you were there at Cheesecake and Crime, you should have taken a look at their local authors section. It has other book by local authors. Some are crime and some are other topics but all very good stories. This is a good article on Denny Griffin but someone besides the View reporter should do some articles on the local writers.

Cher will due whatever she wants with her show. After brecking Las Vegas box office records with this new show do you really think she cares about what you critics have to say??? Like she said a few years ago to the press "Every year the critics say I`m on my way out, well its now been over forty years and I`m still here" Shes been walking over you guys for years and is still on top. Face it the fans will come no matter what she does from around the world. The costumes and sets are a hugh part of Chers show and the fans love all of her over the top stuff she does at her concerts. She is like no other performer out there so please stop trying to change her into something shes not. You just need to know that Cher is a force to be reckon with so step lightly around her. She will still remain a HUGH star for years to come and after winning just about every show business award out there I think we can all say she knows what shes doing and don`t need your help on anything..

Democrats need to wait it out until the caucus
process, primaries and all states have voted.
The system needs to perform the way it was meant to and set up to do. Designating either
Clinton or Obama as the "entitled" winner before the Convention is meaningless and will not represent the "people's" choice. Do not think that Senator McCain and the Republicans are not worried if either of the Democratic candidates gets elected - they are a "done deal" to loose - the Country has already spoken
on this. Personally, I think after 250 years of "men" in the Oval Office, it's time for a
WOMAN to come in and "clean up that HOUSE" too.
No offense to Sen. Obama, but HILLARY is our
best bet for a super President with answers and
experience in her life, her White House days, her Senate tenure and in reaching out to ALL
PEOPLE.
