The cast of Tropicana’s “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas,” including Joey Fatone, Tia Carrere, Sabrina Bryan, Lacey Schwimmer, Dmitry Chaplin and Carson Kressley, dined at STK in the Cosmopolitan and used the bejeweled, diamond-encrusted 15K steak knife. Joey and Tia continued onto nearby Marquee for Celebrity Karaoke in the Library.

The opening of Senor Frog’s at Treasure Island was tied to Cinco de Mayo festivities and a world-record-attempt tequila toast to benefit our Keep Memory Alive. A mariachi band escorted us onto the Sirens of T.I. pirate ship, and we had tequila toasts onboard for the pirates, tourists watching from the Strip and Senor Frog’s guests inside the sprawling, two-floor, Spring Break-styled bar. Everybody hit the deck and danced in booty-shaking conga lines with the crazed staff through the 22,000-square-foot dining area, outdoor patio and five bars.
Deadmau5 took over XS in the Encore to celebrate the release of his latest single, “The Veldt,” which is now available on ITunes. Nearly 6,000 fans turned out to join the party and watch the EDM phenomenon rock the stage. He returns to his residency at XS over Memorial Day Weekend on May 27. Among the Strip entertainers at Harrah’s headliner magician Mac King’s 12th Annual Derby Day party were fellow illusionists Lance Burton, Penn Jillette, Amazing Johnathan, Stan Allen, Johnny Thompson and juggler Michael Goudeau.
Chuy Bravo of “Chelsea Lately” hosted his Cinco de Mayo bash at Pure in Caesars Palace. The comedian made a grand entrance, carried through the mega-club in a silver chariot, as partygoers cheered and confetti flew in the air as resident DJ Eric D-Lux spinned. Chuy happily posed for photographs with fans and handed out “Chuy for President” T-shirts. Chef Gordon Ramsay was spotted working on final menu changes and staff training in advance of the official opening Friday of his first-ever Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris, which had a soft opening Monday. Gordon and his opening team also dined at Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace.
Kathy Coleman from “Land of the Lost” watched Terry Fator’s show at the Mirage and visited with the ventriloquist entertainer and his wife Taylor Makakoa before the show. Seth Gold of “Hardcore Pawn” also watched Terry’s show. Boxing legends Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas “The Hitman” Hearns enjoyed drinks on the Rhumbar patio at the Mirage. Afterward, Sugar Ray paid a surprise visit to the nearby Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Baltimore Ravens star Patrick Johnson dined at Republic Kitchen and Bar in Henderson. He told the owners that he is training to make the U.S. team for the 2012 Olympics in the 100 meters.
Janelle and Robyn Brown of TLC’s “Sister Wives” dined at Senor Frog’s. The two wives celebrated the birthday of Janelle, second wife to Kody Brown. Grammy-winning rapper and actor Common hosted and performed at Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria the day after hosting and performing at the Bank in the Bellagio.
Rapper Fat Joe took over LAX in the Luxor for his Cinco de Mayo celebration. With an entourage of eight, including wife Lorena, Fat Joe performed his hits “Lean Back” and “What’s Love.” He gave a shout-out to a group of fans waving his native Puerto Rican flag and then went up to their table to thank them for their support.
