DJ 88's resume reads like a laundry list of gigs at top tier venues and opening sets for the music industries finest; The Roots, De la Soul, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, Stephen Marley, Hot Hot Heat, She Wants Revenge, she's opened for them all. But 88's journey in the music began outside the DJ booth under the name Bree Delano as the manager for Adam 12 (of She Wants Revenge) in the soundtrack division of Atlantic Records. For years Delano, now Bree Cohen, made her impact as a freelance reviewer, talent manager and party promoter, even wracking up an associate producer credit on the High School High movie soundtrack.
Eventually the Los Angeles native tried her hand at spinning and found a natural talent on the turntables, earning herself a residency at L.A. ultra lounge Falcon before packing her bags and heading to Las Vegas. In her adopted city, Cohen, now known as DJ 88, is currently a resident for N9NE Group at the Palms.
