Before turning to the turntables full time, DJ AM (born Adam Goldstein) was a member of alt-rock group Crazy Town. Since joining the DJ ranks AM has become a sought-after presence in the DJ booth and on albums for artists like Madonna, Will Smith and Babyface. AM held Las Vegas residencies at both Pure and LAX before settling at Rain for AM Fridays.
In late August 2009, Goldstein was found dead in his Manhattan apartment. His death shocked the nightlife world, who paid tribute to the beloved DJ.
