Born and raised in La Puente, Calif., DJ Cyberkid lived there until he was 15, then made the jump to Carpinteria, Calif. Towards the end of his senior year of high school, Cyberkid got into DJing, a hobby that would soon morph into a career for the young man. Cyberkid’s first professional DJing gig was in Ventura, California where he worked as a mixer fulltime on KCAQ Q1047 FM. After about three and a half years, Cyberkid was on the road again, moving to Palm Springs then Santa Maria, where he continued his radio career at KPAT 95.7 FM The BEAT!
One year later, Cyberkid came to Las Vegas and began working as Music Director for Clearchannel Radio for WILD 102 FM. However, a station transition to Spanish programming pushed Cyberkid to pursue other opportunities, and this energetic DJ headed straight to Vegas’ extravagant nightclubs. Today, Cyberkid’s weeks are jam-packed with residencies at some of the city’s hottest clubs including Tao, Playboy, Sala and Ghostbar.
