DJ Levon James

As one of the resident DJ's for Spundae in Las Vegas, Levon James has developed a unique and energetic sound that can move any crowd before him. Levon draws from a broad range of contemporary influences, blending Funk, Soul, Electro, Disco, Hip-Hop, Pop Music, and House into every set. Levon has built a list of bootleg remix work including the Jackson Five's "Want You Back", Snoop Dogg & Warren G's "Ain't No Fun", Young MC's "Bust a Move", Missy Elliot's "Lose Control", Parliament's "Fantastic Voyage", Prince's "Kiss", 50 Cent's "Disco Inferno", Erik B. & Rakim's "I Know You Got Soul," Daft Punk’s "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," and Tag Team's "Whoomp, There It Is." Levon is the Nightlife Guru promotions manager at the Palms Resort in Las Vegas, and is a resident DJ at the Rio Resort's Voodoo Lounge.

I started going by just my first and second name a few years ago. Someone told me Levon James sounded like some smooth cat that might have been in the movie Shaft or Superfly. I have to say that I'm grateful that I have such creative parents.
