It all started with mom's home stereo system and a Frank Sinatra record. Born in the Philippines, and raised in Las Vegas, DJ Presto One has been active in the DJ/ turntablist scene for over 14 years. Over his career he has performed around the globe from North America, to Europe, to Japan and here in Las Vegas at some of the most prestigious clubs including Pure, Tao, Studio 54, Jet, Cherry and now at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Body English as the club’s newest resident DJ.

DJ Presto One has opened for and worked alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment, including The Roots, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe, KRS-One, Dilated Peoples and DJs Premier, Q-Bert, Jazzy Jeff, D-Styles, The Beat Junkies, Vice, 5ive, Funkmaster Flex, Grand and Wizard Theodore. Even in celebrity circles this innovative DJ is a sought after booking. Presto has spun for celebrities like Britney Spears, TJ Lavin, Estella Warren and Rosario Dawson, and his work has been featured in videos, magazines and record compilations, such as “Okay Player: True Notes Vol. 1,” Uncle Howie Records, The TJ Lavin Story DVD, DJ Q-Bert’s: Scratchlopedia DVD and the ESPN Action Sports Awards in 2002.

A productive artist and performer, Presto One is a proud member of the legendary world famous "Rock Steady Crew" as well as a founding member of the up and coming West Coast-based DJ collective “The Jimi Handtrix Experience.” Presto One is proudly sponsored by Tribal Street Wear, Vestax, Shure and more.

In 2008, Presto is looking forward to releasing various mix CD compilations, party breaks and his first scratch record with DJ Quest (SF / Space Travelers/ Handsome Boy Modeling School). He will also be releasing his first do-it-yourself scratch video series for aspiring turntablists, all the while staying busy performing at Las Vegas’ top nightlife venues. Keeping busy and staying consistent, 2008 marks a new beginning for Presto. Keep your eyes and ears open for one of the world’s up and coming top DJs making moves this year.

When I was a break dancer, it was from popping and locking. I've just had that name since I was a little kid. Whenever I move my hands around I was like bam! Presto! I always like to do things fast and I like to play up-tempo music.
