From Our Calendar - Girl Talk at House of Blues
Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 // THIS EVENT HAS PASSED
- Girl Talk at House of Blues
The mash-up wizard brings his "hey, was that...?" sound to Vegas. Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) doesn't take the stage with a guitar or bass, but don't let that throw you off his scent. This mash-up wizard creates an audio collage using samples from other artists that he stitches together to create something entirely new. "It's a real-time sound collage," Gillis explains.
Still have no clue what we're talking about? Head to his show at the House of Blues with Dan Deacon and Wallpaper and learn with your ears.- Where: House of Blues (Directions)
- Start time: 8:00 pm
- Address: 3950 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas
- Cost: $17 - $20
- Age limit: Not available
