Silver State Regional Chili Cook-Off at the Village at Lake Las Vegas

The Village at Las Vegas hosts dozens of chili makers from across the country in the 2009 Silver State Regional Chili Cook-Off, sanctioned by the International Chili Society. Cooks will produce their best Red Chili, Chili Verde and salsa to be judged. A People’s Choice Award will allow the public to vote for their favorite and this unsanctioned category has no rules so cooks are encouraged to use their creativity. In addition to the chili samplings, guests can partake in a raffle for great prizes, giveaways and a bounce house for the kids. Stick around for Jazz on the Lake starting at 7 p.m.
