If you can drag your eyes past the nearly naked Jennifer Aniston on the cover, then past the nearly naked photos of Jennifer Aniston on Page 60, Page 63 and Pages 64-65 (you keep reading; we’ll wait for you here on Pages 64-65), the January issue of GQ has a “best eats” package with a couple of nice Vegas shout-outs. Of the three best meals GQ food critic Alan Richman ate in 2008, one occurred at Raku—“off the Strip but no longer off the radar.” It is, he says, so authentically Japanese “you’ll think Vegas has become a food town, not just a restaurant town.” (You’ve already read a Raku rave from our own Max Jacobson.) Meanwhile, the best burger Richman ate last year was served up at Bradley Ogden in Caesars Palace. It almost makes up for GQ declaring Seattle the food city of the year.
