A trio of Montreal-based sonic stewards, We Are Wolves, with their hyper electro-rock, aren’t just your typical indie electro-trash. Sure, the formula seems the same: Three Canadian dudes playing drums, guitar and synths isn’t entirely original or necessarily cool nowadays. But We Are Wolves’ beautiful yet primitive electronic simplicity, small-p punk licks and attitude make this group of French-speaking geeks the total epitome of both hipster and beardo indie chic. If you miss this show and you call yourself a fan of indie music, boys, you might as well trim that beard and hair while the ladies sell their leggings back to Buffalo Exchange.
