Light Group’s flashy new club at Aria will offer partiers a dramatic entrée into the New Year, escorted by three-time No. 1 DJ in the world Tiesto and chased with a January 2 grand opening with David Guetta. But only after a great soft opening weekend featuring Sharam of Deep Dish and Faarsheed on Friday, December 25, and recording artist Fabolous on Saturday, December 26.
Come January 1, while other clubs are still sweeping up the confetti, Haze will be losing no steam, charging ahead with a great lineup that introduces Thursday as Haze’s industry night.
Industry Thursdays at Haze:
1/7/10 – Usher
1/14/10 – DJ Kaskade
1/21/10 – Estelle
1/28/10 – Flo Rida
Saturdays at Haze:
1/2/10 – DJ David Guetta
1/9/10 – John Legend
1/16/10 – Keri Hilson
1/23/10 – Katy Perry
Fridays at Haze
1/29/10 – DJ Fedde Le Grand
Wow...that looks to be another Grand flop of normal Las Vegas Nightlife.
1/7/10 -- Usher- No one cares
1/14/10 -- DJ Kaskade-Oh..it's his turn again!! should be a resident by now!!
1/21/10 -- Estelle-Who is that?
1/28/10 -- Flo Rida-you have got to be kidding me..coming out strong this month!! Is this what the Industry wants to hear is Flo Rida!! haha...Weak?
Saturdays at Haze:
1/2/10 -- DJ David Guetta-Again????
1/9/10 -- John Legend-I'll leave him out of this
1/16/10 -- Keri Hilson-She made a guest showing on the New Clipse Record!! is she going to be a host!!
1/23/10 -- Katy Perry-Great ringtone for the kids for Christmas
Fridays at Haze
1/29/10 -- DJ Fedde Le Grand-now the light group is getting Crazy with him!! Let me ask you what is so strong with this line-up? This is the same line-up every other month in Vegas!! Light Group3/10

Dear Notsurprised,
You just smacked THE LIGHT GROUP with the leathal use of HARD TRUTH.
No denying the Star Power of Tiesto and Guetta. But I can understand the frustration. A lot of these clubs spend so much on getting the same big names or celebrity hosts, when they should be trying to build something legendary like Utopia once was. Perfecto and Godskitchen have made the most worthy attempts.
I was going to go to see Guetta, but Light Group got greedy. I booked a table, for all locals, 2 weeks ago... 10 people for $2000. The table was confirmed and everything, until yesterday when Light Group called me up and told me that my reservation is changed and now for $2000 I can only get 6 people in. They want me to buy more bottles (at about $620 a pop including 20% tax and 8% tip) to get every one is.
It's just a ploy, of course, to squeeze as much money as possible. I understand the need to maximize profits, but to renege on a done deal is inexcusable!
I'm going to see Above & Beyond at Rain instead.
BTW.... is it me or does this "article" read more like a paid advertisement?
I'm not one for getting into these comment arguments so I'll simply provide an answer to your questions and leave it at that. The reason I wrote this is because the clubs usually only announce their "talent" (yes, sometimes, that is a very strong word for it!) lineups one weekend at a time. People have said to me that it is frustrating to know when to splurge on a big night out when someone way better (and actually more talented...) might be just around the corner. So, since I happened to for once have the new club's entire schedule at my fingertips, I thought it would be helpful for locals and tourists alike who might be wanting to plan their first visit to the biggest new club opening this New Year's Eve to have the same info I do. That's it! :) X
Thanks Xania. I guess we are starting to get a little spoiled in Vegas. A lot of us that mostly just care about the music gasp when we see some of the celebrity hosts that are getting paid all this money just to stand around half the time.
I think after Tiesto and Guetta, everyone was thinking we would see names like Carl Cox, Deadmau5, PVD, James Zabiela, or MSTRKRFT.
All of which have played here over the last year, but probably not enough considering how many times Roger Sanchez, Cedric Gervais, or Kaskade have played.
Some DJ's I would like to see in Vegas this year are Daft Punk, Elite Force, Zodiac Cartel, Krafty Kuts, Hatiras, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Bassnectar, Beats Antique, MartyParty, and MiMOSA.
From your lips to God's ears, rediknight! And I too miss Ice Nightclub. Let's hope for more talent in the New Year, and less filler. And I hope you get to see your DJs in 2010, all of them! :)
