Wednesday, the Southern rockers unveiled their six-song Live From Las Vegas EP, downloadable for $5.94 or 99 cents per tune at iTunes. Among the tracks, which sound crisp and audience-less: the unreleased “Dear Wife” and oldies “Tonight I Want to Celebrate With You” and “They Ran.”

As local fans won’t soon forget, MMJ—ranked the eighth best current live act by Rolling Stone in 2007—was set to play the Joint on September 24, but canceled in mid-August without explanation.

Previous Live From Las Vegas Palms participants include John Legend, Death Cab for Cutie, Wolfmother, Yellowcard, Hinder and Gavin Rossdale.
