Last week’s anti-budget-cuts rally at UNLV caused the usual irritable-bowel syndrome in R-J Editor Tom Mitchell, who, in his blog, ">chastised students for demeaning public discourse. This is the pot calling the kettle a crock. Isn’t the R-J the paper that ran Vin Suprynowicz’s oh-so-elevated “this isn’t a game, we’re not shaking hands” response to the election? Whose sole contribution to any economic debate is to yowl “Don’t tax me, bro”? And, we humbly add, no editor who’s stained his pages with the foul upchuckings of Ken Ward should lecture about decorum in public discourse.
