A tale of two Super Bowls

Image

While the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers churn up the field this Sunday in Tampa Bay, Las Vegas’ Super Bowl XLIII parties will also be going head to head: Bud Light vs. Grey Goose, steaks vs. stadium hot dogs, all-day big-game bash vs., well, all-day big-game bash. Whether Super Bowl Sunday is your favorite holiday of the year or just an excuse to scarf down chicken wings and chase them with beer, Vegas’ bars tackle the entire spectrum of entertainment.

PT's Super Sunday Party
PT’s Pub, various locations
Big Game Party at Blondies
Blondie’s, Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 737-0444

PT’s Pubs across the valley will offer a $10 all-you-can-eat buffet of wings, sliders, pizza and other snacks you might find at an actual football game. Just chug down a $2.50 Bud Light pint, bump into the overexcited Steelers fan in the face paint and imagine you’re in Florida watching the game from the nosebleeds.

Or you can channel a Player’s Club fantasy at Blondie’s, where they’ll be serving a top-shelf open bar and buffet stocked with steak, shrimp, hot wings and salad for $200.

All bets are off on which party has the first personal foul.
