Nightlife
The Jaded Kiss
By Emilio Tiburcio, Fusion Mixology Bar, Palazzo, $12
Thu, Nov 19, 2009 (midnight)
The bar is open! Or rather, back open. Adjacent to Dos Caminos at Palazzo, itty bitty Fusion Mixology Bar has gotten itself some fresh new beats and mixology talent as well as some hot Latin cocktails. No longer just a way station between the slots and the pit, Fusion almost overnight has become a destination bar thanks to the inspired Brazilian, Mexican and Peruvian infusions and hand-crafted Latin cocktails.
Ingredients
2 oz. Agua Luca Cachaça
1 whole kiwi, peeled
1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
1.5 oz. organic wasabi-infused simple syrup
Method:
Muddle the kiwi, lime juice and simple syrup into a mixing glass. Add the cachaça and ice and shake. Double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a kiwi slice and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Holy Kiwi Batman!!!!!
