Las Vegas to go country with Garth Brooks, Trace Adkins and Randy Travis
Trio of high-profile concerts coincides with NFR
Thu, Nov 19, 2009 (12:48 p.m.)
December is shaping up to be quite the month for country music fans in Las Vegas.
Garth Brooks will debut his residency at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas; Trace Adkins will play the Pearl; and Randy Travis will take to the Monte Carlo stage –- and all within a week of each other.
Travis will kick off the concert streak, on Dec. 6 at 9:30 p.m. Adkins will follow three days later, on Dec. 9, while Brooks fans will have to wait until Dec. 11 to see his show. (If they were lucky enough to get tickets before it sold out, that is.)
The trio of concerts coincides with the National Finals Rodeo, which will be held Dec. 3 through Dec. 12.
What’s more, country comic-crooner Rodney Carrington will be at the Hollywood Theatre at MGM Grand for the duration of NFR. And as always, more artists are expected to announce concert dates in and around the city as NFR draws closer.
