Devil’s Night XII kicks off Halloween with Infected Mushroom and Evol Intent

Let the Halloween partying begin! In the tradition of celebrating major holidays for weeks on end, your first costumed stop should be Devil’s Night XII this Saturday. Chad Craig and AWOL Productions keep on keeping on for one of Vegas’ longest-running spooky staples.

Craig and his crew are bringing the crowd stellar headliners this year, including DJ Dan and live performances by Infected Mushroom and Evol Intent. A total of 30,000 square feet of ballroom space at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino will be transformed with enormous custom props and decorations—something Craig’s known for (he also does Halloween décor for Blush, VooDoo and the Fetish and Fantasy Ball).

“We’re going way bigger than we did last year,” he says of the 18 and over event. “Last year was a let down, because we didn’t really have money to decorate the bar area, but now every area will look haunted and spooky.”

In addition, the plethora of Halloween events may have hurt attendance at last year’s Devil’s Night, which was held on October 31. Moving the party to October 24 this year should help usher in larger crowds, as will having a more welcoming vibe than some of the major nightlife destinations. “There’s way more dancing room,” Craig says of Devil’s Night XII. “There’s going to be a VIP area, but [non VIPs are] not herded to the dance floor while cool people stand around and stare you.” For those looking to get their drink on, a 21 and up bar area will also be set up on site.
