Amen Corner: Capitalism at its finest

It’s a true testament to the ingenuity of the American people that even in these trying economic times, they can find ways to survive. Our favorite current story is that of one Nina Radetich, the plucky newscaster at KTNV Channel 13, who was caught—on tape, no less—offering the services of her boyfriend, a guy with some public-relations experience, to the owner of Tire Works, a business that was soon to be featured as the subject of an undercover expose on—where else?—KTNV Channel 13. The station’s vice president and general manager called her actions a lapse in judgment, but we beg to differ. Rather, Radetich ingeniously came up with a way to keep the economic engine of this country going. Some would call it an ethics violation, but we call it capitalism at its finest.
