Now drink this: Star Vodka

Star Vodka is the official vodka of the Las Vegas Walk of Stars.

If the Mayor of Las Vegas can push booze then so too can the Strip itself!

To that end, the Las Vegas Walk of Stars—modeled after Hollywood’s Walk of Fame—recently cemented (pun entirely intended) a partnership with Star Vodka as proud sponsor and the official vodka of all Las Vegas Walk of stars ceremonies and events. The four miles of sidewalk to the east and west of Las Vegas Boulevard South between Sahara and Russell was sanctioned by Clark County in 2004 to honor individuals who have “by their presence in this area, contributed to the charm, worldwide prominence and name recognition of Las Vegas, Clark County.”

Star Vodka is an American-made, gluten-free, luxury vodka that is produced in limited quantities for select clients, events and locations. It is made in Oregon from pure Cascade Mountain water and filtered five times through cooled lava rock or pumice to remove impurities.

Says Charles Ferri, owner of Star Vodka, "The Las Vegas Walk of Stars honors people of prominence in a variety of fields including entertainment, sports, literary, humanitarian, civic, military and pioneers. I created Star Vodka for people of this caliber so this will be a perfect match." Every honoree or representative that receives a star will also be awarded his or her own personalized bottle of Star Vodka.

So far, 44 stars have been installed, most recently Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin in February. But as many as 3,000 stars could one day pave the way down the Boulevard. So Ferri better make a lot of vodka.
