DJs are getting their dues in Las Vegas and packing them in just as much (if not more) than celebrity hosts and guest performers. Weekly contributor Jack Colton held the first annual Las Vegas DJ Awards at The Bank nightclub Sunday evening to show some love for the locals that keep us dancing.

With more than 3,000 online votes cast during the course of five days on Colton's site, the contest culminated in a room packed with nightlife industry folks and partygoers. Nominee Pearce Cleveland emceed the event, and winners received a plaque in the form of a platinum record engraved with their name and category.

Here’s who took home the gold — er, platinum:

Lifetime Achievement Award: DJ Frankie

Most Talented DJ: Z-Trip

Most Established: Vice

Best Main Room DJ: Vice

Best Pool DJ: Scene

Best House DJ: Scotty Boy

Best Female DJ: Tina T

Biggest Local Following: Five

Biggest Groupie Following: Shift

Sexiest DJ: Quira

Best Radio DJ: Andy Gil

Best Emcee: Hollywood

Hottest Newcomer: David Garcia (Aka Stellar)

You favorite DJ didn’t take home a prize? Or just want to make sure they get more props? Nominate them in the annual Las Vegas Weekly Vegas’ Best poll!
