A sorta-super Sunday

Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is no Kurt Warner. And the Saints merely got lucky beating the Cardinals, the best team in the universe. Still, if you can overlook those flaws with the 2009-10 NFL season, Super Bowl XLIV promises to be a grueling battle. The Saints have this never-been-to-the-Bowl, post-Katrina rally thing going, and the Colts are rocking a should’ve-been-undefeated season. And lucky for us, Vegas has home-team bars for both: Colts fans should head to Timbers Bar & Grill, 4075 S. Durango (215-2500); and Saints fans to the 7-11 Bar, 2520 Arville Street (362-2415). Plenty of beer and snack specials at both bars, and very few Cardinals fans at either. CBS coverage starts at 9 a.m., the commercials are bound to be the year’s best and kickoff is at 3:25 p.m. Go Cards—er—commercials!
