Monster Zero

Sunday School Singalongs

Monster Zero, Singalongs

It’s been almost a decade since spooky surf quintet Monster Zero released new music; this second full-length begs the question: Why did they make us wait so long?

Monster Zero

Awash in reverb, rolling tremolos and front-ghoul Kevin “Lord Merciless” Leonard’s California cool-meets-graveyard reaper vocals, Singalongs picks up the frantic energy of 2000’s The Making of a Monster and adds a new level of ferocity. Complete with nods to the Halloween series’ Dr. Sam Loomis and blaxploitation films, and an amazingly groovy look into the fear of the number 13, Singalongs is more fun than a barrel of zombified corpses.
