Hawaiian Tropic Zone inside the Miracle Mile Shops announced it will be closing shop as soon as February 20 after just more than two years of bronzed beauties and tiki torches.
A representative from HTZ was unsure of the exact closing date, but a grand closing party is scheduled for Saturday. The event's Facebook invite includes a statement from HTZ Director of Marketing Wayne Crane: "Thank you everyone for all of the memories and support over the last two years!" The blowout bash will include DJs Gigahurtz and Timbo, $5 you-call-it drinks and shots all night.
The venue's replacement has not yet been announced, but a representative for HTZ tells the Weekly the successor will feature a new concept and new management. Stay tuned to LasVegasWeekly.com for more details.
