OK, we know Rumjungle has been at Mandalay Bay for years (and years) - quite an impressive feat for a Las Vegas nightlife destination (and restaurant, we know that, too). But with all the shiny new megaclubs popping up around town, it’s been a while since we hit up one of our former haunts. February 25 might be the night to once again shimmy up to either side of the Rumjungle bar or run your fingers through night spot’s waterfall wall.
Starting this week, Viva Thursdays marks a new blip on our party radar, and DJ G-Minor will spin for this Thursday’s event. Resident DJs named for the Viva Thursdays are Knowledge, Chris Fusion and Ricky J spinning house, mash-ups, Latin tracks and top 40. We have to give props for Viva bringing out noted house DJ/producer David Delano from LA’s Powertools mix show with Swedish Egil and Richard Vission for the night, as well. Nice.
For more information about bottle service and guest list, visit the Viva Thursday event Facebook page.

The Fire Pit is really churrasco, Brazilian barbecued meats cooked on long skewers, then sliced off tableside. Black Angus beef, pork loin with pineapple, and spicy Brazilian sausages are just part of the parade.
