BOA and Sushi Roku give out cheap food for their birthdays
BOA Steakhouse is throwing a birthday party and you’re invited.
Las Vegas Life
Whether or not you believe the do-gooder philosophy that the greatest gift of all is the act of giving, you can still happily reap the benefits of those that do.
For their upcoming birthdays, BOA Steakhouse and Sushi Roku are offering up a stellar discount for customers: 50 percent off all food items. This means you can save money while you celebrate the five-year anniversaries of these two posh Strip restaurants, both located on the third floor of the Caesars Palace Forum Shops. You won’t even have to bring a birthday card. (Cake, on the other hand, makes every birthday better.)
The discount applies to both lunch and dinner food items from noon to 10 p.m. between January 11 and 14.
Sushi Roku
The Forum Shops feature some of the best dining in Vegas and Sushi Roku is no exception. The Japanese restaurant is a favorite of Elton John, rumored to order thousands of dollars worth of sushi when he's in town. Another excellent perk, locals receive 20 percent off their bill until the end of September.
The Las Vegas Weekly's Allison Duck recommends pairing your meal with a Far East Mule, a gin concoction made with Bombay Sapphire East.
Happy hour is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Boa Steakhouse -- Closed
Almost everything you will eat here is delicious. Goat cheese beignet is like a grown-up jelly doughnut. Caramelized onion soup topped with Gruy, as rich and beefy as the law allows, is simply magnificent. BOA Steakhouse recently announced the creation of its $1,000 cocktail extravaganza, The King Richard's Pride. Served in a Baccarat "Equinoxe" cocktail glass, the libation consists of two oz. Hennessy Richard, 3/4 oz. Dom Perignon Rose 1996, 1/2 oz Chambord Liqueur Royale De France blended together with the juice of 1/2 a lime, one muddled orange slice and a splash of cranberry juice.
