If you see N9NE Group co-founder Michael Morton (yes, like the steakhouse chain, that was started by his dad, Arnie Morton) walking through Wynn Las Vegas sometime soon, don’t stop and ask if he needs directions. Morton isn’t lost. He’s working.

Morton, whose nightlife and dining company has thus far been exclusive to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, is slated to open up a new wine bar inside the Wynn this fall in the space adjacent to the Terrace Pointe Café. A release from the property claims the as-yet-unnamed swill and sip spot will “elevate the celebration of wine to a multi-sensory experience including food, mood, and music with innovative design features.”

That sounds lovely, but here’s what we really know: Morton’s new venture will feature a wide range of wines from around the world, as well as artisanal beers, crafted cocktails and gourmet nibbles like house-made charcuterie, various cheeses, grilled tapas and bite-sized desserts. The bar’s soundtrack is planned to match its wine list with music from such famous wine-producing countries as France, Spain, Argentina and Australia. No word yet on whether Californian or Oregonian bands will make the list.

Looking forward to it!
