Matt Goss, how do you keep fit?

Goss’s sleek silhouette on stage comes thanks to boxing sessions three days a week with a former Olympian.

If you’ve seen Matt Goss’s show at Caesars Palace you know the Brit cuts a pretty silhouette on stage. But you won’t bump into the crooner at the local gym. “I’m not a big fan of working out, ’cause it’s boring. Jumping on a treadmill going nowhere fast is boring as shit to me,” says Goss. Instead, Goss stays in shape by boxing three times a week with a former Olympic boxer. “Jose, he’s smaller than me but he can still kick my ass. It’s like a big old spoonful of wasabi when he cracks you on the nose, but I’ve got him a few times as well.”

One boxer Goss won’t be taking aim at is fellow Brit Ricky Hatton, who sang on stage in the Gossy Room during a visit to Vegas. “I would pay money not to get in the ring with Ricky,” laughs Goss. “Ricky hits hard, you know. I wouldn’t recommend that for anyone.” Matt Goss performs at 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, at Caesars Palace
