Perez Hilton is proving why he deserves the self-proclaimed title "queen of all media." The celebrity blogger is embracing micro-blogging site Twitter and hosting a birthday "Tweetup" April 1 at Tao Nightclub.

The birthday celebration commemorates Perez Hilton's 32nd birthday, which actually was March 23, but we all know celebrities (and celebrity bloggers) are allowed to celebrate for at least a week. The event will include a red carpet and "tweet-only surprises," which will be revealed to Tweeps (aka Twitter peeps) through @PerezHilton and @TaoLasVegas. DJ Five will provide musical entertainment, while Perez Hilton is sure to supply ample amounts of drama. The blogger is known for his snarky commentary on celebrities like Lindsay Lohan (or "Lindsanity," as she is often referred to on his blog) and Paris Hilton (his almost-namesake).

Thursday's event will be Perez Hilton's second Vegas Tweetup. The first was held in February at Tao's sister property, Lavo, and according a recent tweet by @PerezHilton, it was "so successful, I'm hosting another."
