Las Vegas seems like the ideal place for a film festival that celebrates sexuality in all its varied permutations, but this is actually the first year that CineKink, the touring "kinky film festival," is coming to town (the festival is in its seventh year). The three-day event, showcasing selections from the annual CineKink festival in New York City, includes feature films, shorts and music videos and kicks off May 13 with a party at the Erotic Heritage Museum, with performances and a tease of the movies to come.

Those movies range from serious documentaries about explorations of sexual boundaries to humorous looks at kinky fantasies to clips from actual adult films. What other film festival offers both a panel discussion featuring a UNLV women's studies professor and a sampling of the latest work by "anal sexpert" and feminist pornographer Tristan Taormino? You won't see that at Sundance.
