The art of voicing animated films
Wed, Nov 3, 2010 (5:35 p.m.)
Voice work we live: Eddie Murphy in Shreck, Ellen Degeneres in Finding Nemo, Ray Romano in Ice Age, Tim Allen in Toy Story and Woody Allen in Antz.
Celebrities sometimes get to cut loose and be creative with voices for animated movies, and sometimes they just phone it in (perhaps literally). The latter’s mostly the case with Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt as a supervillain and his heroic nemesis in Megamind, although Pitt has a bit of goofy fun with his too-brief turn as the narcissistic hero.
