Eating gets competitive at the Rio with meatball madness at Martorano’s

If you missed the mangia madness at Martorano’s at the Rio last weekend, don’t fret! The Italian restaurant’s Master’s Meatball Eating Contest was dutifully documented and you can observe the face stuff-age right here.

With 43 meatballs downed after all was said and done (and chewed and swallowed), defending champ Joey Chestnut definitely brought his gorge game to the table. But the Weekly’s own Guy Bertuzzi and Bruce Spotleson, the only amateurs to put meat to mouth for the competition, did us proud, too. View the video to see how the competition fared!
